Sigur Mobile Terminal is used for registration of employee arrival and departure, as well as registration of evacuated employees at the assembly point in case of emergencies. For the convenience of users we have updated the mobile terminal application: redesigned the interface, improved stability and added a number of new features.
Since March 20, the app is available for download in Google Play and can be installed on any Android mobile device, starting with version 4.0.
We regularly improve the UX of our applications by maintaining a reasonable balance between modern design and user experience. The Mobile Terminal interface became more concise, with smooth animations and easily readable information about employees. We also added the option of selecting a dark theme and uploading the operator’s photo. We have added new items to the menu, allowing more rapid work with the application.
The licensing principle of the application has not changed: the free version of Mobile Terminal is still available for users. This version allows users to work with a permanent connection to the access system server.
For cases when it is required to record employee arrivals and departures offline, it is possible to use the offline version of the application: in this case each of the terminals added to the system is licensed separately.
In addition to updates related to the application interface, we have also added the following features:
- the ability to copy the device ID* for further transmission using the standard function «Share»;
- a new pop-up menu allowing the user to quickly choose the registration mode depending on the working conditions;
- displaying the status of synchronization of personnel data when the terminal is working offline. This allows you to understand the relevance of the local version of the database on the device;
- possibility to write to Sigur technical support and send all data about errors via «Send Log» function.
*Device ID is a special code generated by the application and used to connect the device to the system server.
