New Sigur Software Version: Red Hat Linux support & other changes

Sigur has released new versions of the software, which can be used for brand new installations or update existing systems.

Historically, Sigur software can be run on Linux, however supports Debian-based platforms only. Starting today Sigur provides the software runed Red Hat OS, such as RHEL, CentOS, Fedora and etc. for companies which uses these kinds of operating systems as corporate standard.

Notice: Red Hat Enterprise Linux version has functional limitations. We strongly recommend to consult our support before use.

Our products are used by different companies, and each of them has its own requirements for ACS. Both in terms of the opportunities it provides, and how such system will fit into the existing business infrastructure. A new update allows to meet all the challenges: the released solution has more functionality, but at the same time may be implemented in the environment that is convenient for the client

By the way, new software includes series of changes. Our clients would have got additional functions of integration with video surveillance, fire and security alarm systems, face recognition and temperature measurement terminals BIOSMART Quasar.

For more effective work of the security officer the Visual monitoring screen editor has been updated. Now it is possible to more flexibly configure the way of monitoring, for instance, processing not just a general access denied event, but a specific reason. Besides you can play a video stream from a camera or received an alarm message when a visitor's face was not successfully verified or after the second entry attempt.

Today Sigur provides to set automatic reactions on hundreds event types in its security systems. The Sigur ACSs respond to them and carry out one of preprogrammed actions, for example: sending time-attendance reports or activating rooms security system after the last employee has left it.
