The use of third-party readers within Sigur has become even more convenient. In addition to supporting the connection of devices with standard output interfaces, as well as deep integration with a number of models, users can now also configure the order of receiving data from the reader.
Depending on the system, employee and visitor card codes can be stored in the ACS in different ways: either directly or reverse bytes. In cases wh ere equipment from different manufacturers is used simultaneously at the facility, it is important to have a tool that takes such features into account.
While working on the product, we have always strived to make Sigur as open as possible. This approach implies the use of ACS within the existing infrastructure of the facility. Therefore, the ACS developer must provide convenient mechanisms for interacting with many other solutions: both software and hardware.
Readers and other peripherals are obviously no exception.
This allows Sigur readers to be configured flexibly to work in parallel with other devices in a system built on multi-vendor hardware without having to duplicate identifiers with different reading order.
