On April 11-14 Sigur took part in one of major security events in Russia and the CIS – Securika Moscow 2023. Summing up, it is safe to say that the exhibition has become an effective platform for achieving the goals. We held more than 200 meetings, introduced existing solutions and new Sigur service products to visitors, shared experience with industry experts during the business program of the exhibition.
For us, participation in Securika Moscow is an opportunity to discuss a huge number of issues with current clients and technology partners within just 4 days, as well as to start communicating with new ones.
This year we noticed the qualitative growth of the audience: most visitors came to the Sigur stand with specific tasks and projects. It was nice to meet everyone!
Sigur Exposition
The Sigur’s demo zone became the main focus of visitors. This year it was divided into two zones: the company’s own equipment and integrated solutions with technology partners: DSSL, Hikvision, BIOSMART, Alcobarier, Dormakaba, Keyguard, Videomax and others.
Sigur’s distinctive feature is its vertical support for equipment. This is why the current version of the software includes a demonstration scenario of controllers produced more than 10 years ago.
This allows customers to easily expand the system. For us it is an opportunity to build cooperation with users as transparently and predictably as possible.
Among the modern equipment ranges, the Sigur E2 and E4 controllers were of particular interest to visitors. In addition to basic capabilities, the controllers have security features and extended support for network protocols
Also we demonstrated MR100 readers for secure identification using cards of various formats and smartphones.
Sigur has been working on our facilities since 2016 without losing its relevance. The main advantage for us is the ability to combine controllers of different models and release dates and at the same time to use the latest software developments.
I was glad to see the Sigur team at the exhibition and talk live, discuss new products and plans. Good luck and new interesting projects!
Sigur specialists paid special attention to the REST API protocol. It allows developers to implement the required integration functionality without the participation of Sigur specialists.
REST API is a universal way to organize any integration with an external system. The advantages of using the protocol are obvious: it is understandable to all developers, easy to use, does not change over time and guarantees the stability of the integration.
We were glad to show the visitors the REST API capabilities in action using the example of a joint Sigur solution with the IT Dock company.
Business Section
Within the framework of the exhibition, Sigur specialists took part in a number of significant events: discussions, interviews, and also acted as the jury of the "Best Innovative Product" contest.
We fully share the position of the exhibition organizers and always have a positive attitude towards the exchange of experience between all market participants.
Of course, it's nice that we are perceived as experts, whose opinions are listened to. In turn, we will try to keep the bar high and be as open as possible to the professional community.
On April 11, Sergey Leshchev, Director of Product Development of Sigur, took part in the discussion opening the business program – «Analytics, Security Market Review and Analysis in Russia, Forecasts for 2023». Leading experts discussed the transformation of the industry under the influence of external events, opportunities for growth of the market share of Russian equipment and software, and presented their strategies for working with new and current customers.
Sergey also gave an interview to the official Press Center of the exhibition. He answered relevant questions concerning the security industry in general and Sigur business in particular.
The second day of the exhibition was full of business activities. Denis Silin, Sigur’s pre-sale engineer, took part in the Forum of Security Directors, where he presented a report «Access control system at production facilities: effective solutions for safety and management».
Based on Sigur projects Denis demonstrated how ACS can become not just a security tool, but a tool that allows businesses to optimize costs and increase their economic efficiency.
After 7 years of cooperation with Sigur, we have never had any doubts about the correct choice of the developer and manufacturer of ACS. This is one of those companies that listens to the customer and is always ready to discuss individual improvements.
On the same day, the Expert Commission including Sergey Leshchev awarded the winners of the annual competition «Best innovative product». In total, experts considered 17 applications from 14 companies in 5 nominations.
«The Best Innovative Product» is an annual innovation competition within the framework of the Securika Moscow exhibition. The objective of the competition is to identify the advanced achievements in the safety industry, as well as to note the qualitative improvement of existing products on the market.
It is important for us to see highly qualified specialists in the jury. That is why Sergey Leshchev joined the jury this year. During the competition participants must present and protect their product, and, I confess, Sergei managed to «get» to the truth.
Our expectations are fully justified! Sergei Leshchev is the first time in the jury, but I think it will not be the last time.
Nikita Lebedev, head of Sigur services development, took part in the project Twinpro on Air, organized by the company «TwinPro». During the interview Nikita told about the history of Sigur, our approach to work with customers and the nearest plans.
