Sigur is demonstrating a new approach to organizing access for visitors to the commercial real estate at Intersec 2025

At the company’s stand, we will present a guest access solution for commercial property owners that automates guest pass management without compromising security.

Over the years, our company has often been faced with guest pass management issues. As a development company, we have a deep understanding of our customers' pain points.

By developing the solution, our goal was first, to provide a flexible product that could adapt to any scenario. The second was to simplify and automate the scenarios, in order to reduce the human factor, minimizing the possibility of errors in issuing passes and increasing the comfort level for visitors.

The suggested solution can be adapted to the needs of every customer. Its main technical advantages are rapid deployment at the site without the additional software installation, implementation of approval chain with different levels of complexity according to the technical requirements, identification by using QR codes and barcodes, and the possibility of submitting visit requests remotely.

Visitor management developed by Sigur is primarily aimed at commercial property owners, including business centers and enterprises with a high visitor flow. We are closely monitoring the needs of the MENA market. We believe that the demonstrated solution will definitely appeal to potential customers in the region.

On-site Implementation

The requirements for the guest passes management of every facility are individual, and thanks to its flexibility, the solution can be implemented in a number of different ways.

The customer can use the "classic" method of issuing passes, where access is granted by the administrator in the reception area, or, if it’s necessary to provide more stringent access, the administrator requires an authorized employee to approve. In both cases, it will be needed to organize workplaces for system users.

At the customer's request, Sigur is also ready to offer more modern and convenient ways of managing within the solution, which means a higher degree of the process automation with elimination of the human factor. For example, by using a self-registration terminal in the reception area, the visitor submits a request for a visit. The terminal can be used with a stationary device (PC) as well as a mobile device (tablet). There is no need to install special software, the guest access interface can be opened in any browser.

There is another way that allows customers to organize access at the facility even more conveniently - the request to visit is sent by the guest remotely, if the guest access interface is integrated into the web-resource of the visited company, for example, its website. Both methods do not require the organization of standard users' workplaces.

Approval flexibility

The implementation of approval logic is different. In order to meet the requirements of a higher level of security, it is possible to create any path of coordination of requests, where the access coordination is performed by a certain employee, a group of employees who have the same role in the Sigur system, or a set of employees of a certain company.

Supported identifiers

Sigur software supports several visitor identification ways, the choice of the identifier is up to the customer. On the basis of its experience in the implementation of projects of various levels of complexity, we recommend the use of QR codes and barcodes as the most accessible types of identifiers that can be sent to the visitor remotely. Their application is immediately available to the user. When required, the solution can also be realized using "classic" cards, gathered in the card-collector by the guest leaving the facility.

To speed up the work with QR codes, both household and specialized scanners can be connected to the system. Thus, for convenient data entry, the system user or the visitor can scan the identification document via an integrated solution with one of our technology partners, the manufacturer of passport readers "Regula". The interaction with model 7027 will be demonstrated at the company's stand during Intersec 2025 in January.

Sometimes a guest needs to print a pass that cannot be opened on a mobile device for some reason, such as low battery. Sigur solution allows the printer to be connected to a PC-based self-registration terminal. All the guest has to do is enter the number of the visit request previously sent to them by email or SMS and press the "print" button.
